Thanks to all of you who made our Christmas market go with such a bang last weekend - it was great to see so many shoppers full of festive cheer!

We have a really exciting announcement to make - we're thrilled to announce that this Saturday we will holding our market at one of the first public openings in decades of Hornsey Town Hall - a 1930s architectural masterpiece in the middle of Crouch End and the first major UK building to be constructed in the Modernist style.

Built in 1935, Grade II listed and used to shoot many feature films and recently the BBC series The Hour, the building is a stunning example of 1930s architecture. This is a rare chance to step into the past - the public have hardly ever been allowed in - and it's beautiful period features remain largely untouched. Hornsey Town Hall was also the first ever music venue played by Queen and by The Kinks.  We will have over 30 of our vendors selling all sorts of nostalgic wares including vintage furniture, home wares, clothing and curiosities offering brilliant opportunities to pick up original gifts and festive decor.

Don't miss this chance to be one of the first people in years to get a glimpse of this amazing space as well as offering a chance to grab some vintage bargains at the same time! Check the event listing on their new website here to find out more and do RSVP and invite anybody who might be interested to our Facebook event.

The market will run from 10am to 4pm and will be free entry - don't forget you can follow us on Twitter under @NLvintagemarket for updates! It should be a memorable day in a hugely atmospheric venue that plays an important part in Crouch End's history - we hope to see you there for Christmas cheer, original gift ideas and a step back in time!
