Vintage Street Style
We've been keeping ourselves busy this week photographing stylish men on the streets around the London Men's Collections for the Telegraph Fashion Blog.
This dapper chap told us he was wearing original 1940's US marine trousers, a vintage 1930's hunting vest and a 1950's jacket. We thought they were in superb condition given they'd been around for over half a century - forget Primark, investing in vintage really does reward you with classic, well-made items that can last a lifetime!
We also adored this snappily dressed gentleman we recently came across - 70 year old artist George Skeggs, a flamoboyant character who told us he never followed fashion and has lived in Covent Garden since the 1960's.
If you like the look of George, have a look at The Luminous Eye, a blog run by NLVM organiser and photographer Ali which features unusual people with an eclectic sense of style
We're back in Crouch End for our next market on September 7th - hope you can join us!

Dog Show
Massive thanks to everyone who attended and participated in our Dog Show as part of our June market at the weekend, we loved seeing so many canine characters and a brilliant £135 was raised in the process for North London Hospice!
We're also hugely grateful to fantastic Crouch End vintage shop Painted Black, Banners restaurant and The Maynard Arms for their very kind prize donations to winning dog owners
We're back on Saturday September 7th, more details to follow, hope you can join us then!

More June stalls!
Just two days until we're back for our June special, which will include later opening hours of 5pm, extra outdoor stalls and a charity dog show at 2pm for North London Hospice! And on top of that, we have such a splendid array of vendors this time round, we can't wait to tell you about them - here are some more previews of the handsome wares on offer this Saturday June 1st!
Our popular regulars The Nostalgia Exchange are back - experienced purveyors of eclectic homewares and curiosities, they travel around the UK and France to carefully hand-pick rare and wonderful nostalgic items, come and see their latest finds!
We love this adorable children's sewing machine they recently came across
We're also really looking forward to having Amanda Mason from Ruby's Rooms back this time round - Amanda has an amazing expert eye for mid century ceramics and always has a stunning selection of Scandinavian wares, dazzling 60's pottery and vintage glassware.
We'll also have a portion of excellent vendors selling jewellery, accessories, clothing and handbags for those of you who feel like a dressing-up fix. Sophie Bijoux always has an eye catching stall brimming with stunning original costume jewellery pieces from the 1930's onwards.
Channel the 1970's with this glorious neckpiece!
Echo Beach will also be back with ladies' accessories, handbags, shoes and lots more - and being textile designers they have a supreme eye for colour, pattern and generally gorgeous items
Don't forget that Tarunima from My Little Cake Tin will also be on hand to feed you with her supreme selection of homemade samosas (which sold out in record time last time round) as well as raspberry tarts, pistachio cakes, cupcakes and other delicious creations. She'll also have home made lemonade this time round and will be creating these picnic boxes should you want to amble in Alexandra Palace Park afterwards!
We'll also have lots more vendors overflowing with unique and brilliant vintage items! Furniture from Dusty Fingers, beautiful scarves and 1940's/50's dresses from Fola Solanke, beauty items from Love Vintage as well as vintage ceramics, fabrics, glassware, toys, postcards, kitchenware and so much more!
If you would like to enter our Dog Show, please email ali@northlondonvintagemarket.co.uk or turn up before 2pm on the day - otherwise, come to watch and donate, and help us raise as much as possible for North London Hospice
Come and see us this Saturday June 1st before our summer break - see you there from 10am!
